These Lonely Shores

Standing on the lonely shores
overlooking the roaming sea
Uncanny how the storms
of the ocean find a home in me
And I can't help wondering
if I'm losing it all
but then I wonder is that so bad
is that so bad after all

I just wanna learn my lessons
I just wanna leave the right impressions
upon this sand
wont let this land get me down
cause its not home even now
And I won't let it wear me out

Behind me the world screams
But I've turned my soul away
Lies rip at the seams
But the truth is here to stay

as I stand facing the sea
